teaching new students through 6th kyu material from the Dayton
Bujinkan Dojo Curriculum. Any level student may attend. Highly
recommended for new students.
Advanced Class - A one-hour class dedicated
to teaching 5th kyu through Yondan material from the Dayton Bujinkan
Dojo Curriculum. Recommended for 5th kyu students and above.

Combination Class - A one-hour class (occasionally
1.5 hours) dedicated to students of any rank. The instructor
determines what material to teach based on the attending student's
rank.
Randori Class - A 1.5 hour class practicing "live" methods
of taijutsu training with resisting opponents. Primarily
a groundfighting and sparring class. Randori
(sparring, single-action free response) and yakusoku randori
("to agree and spar") is offered for all attendees.
Must be 5th Kyu or higher to attend.
Note: This adult beginner class focuses
heavily on new student curriculum requirements. Basics taihenjutsu
skills (falling, rolling, body movement exercises) are emphasized
for the first thirty minutes. Highly recommended for new students.
The Dayton Bujinkan Dojo is a non-competitive dojo. Bujinkan
Budo Taijutsu martial arts does not participate in tournaments
of any kind. Safety is of utmost importance during training,
and students are never forced to do something they do not feel
comfortable with. Because of this, the Dayton Bujinkan Dojo maintains
a positive learning environment in a fun and family atmosphere.
The average age of our adult student is 30 years old. We have
many students who are in their 40's, and a few who are in their
50's. The youngest adult student accepted into our program is
approximately 15 years old. Be sure to view our Costs
Page for more information.
