Interested in Joining the Dayton Bujinkan Dojo?
The Dayton Bujinkan Dojo Martial Arts School is a private facility but accepts inquiries year-round for its adult (14+ years old) and young adult (6-13 years old) martial arts training program. Introductions and tours are available by appointment only during class time on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays. Complete the form below and someone will contact you. A consultation is required with Dojo staff in order to train at the Dayton Bujinkan Dojo. The Dojo reserves the right to prohibit a request for membership or cancel an active student's membership at anytime. Please refer to the Bujinkan Guidelines and Dojo Rules for more information.
Not all inquiring students are accepted as members due to the physical nature of martial arts training, yoga, tai chi, and striking classes. Please review the rules and guidelines below. Accepted students must complete an electronic liability form, agree to training guidelines, pay membership fees and adhere to the rules of the Bujinkan Hombu. Martial arts membership is managed through Zen Planner’s Fitness Business Software platform.

If we don't answer, it's because we are busy teaching class, attending to our students, or not available. For a quicker response, send us your information using the form below. Dojo Visitor Expectations: Smoking, vaping, e-cigarettes, bringing pets, unauthorized pictures and recordings, and walking around on the mats instead of training is prohibited. Please see an instructor for more information.
Dayton Bujinkan Dojo Martial Arts Training Requirements:
Enrollment is accepted year round for approved candidates. Accepted students must agree to training guidelines, sign liability forms, pay membership fees, and adhere to the Rules of the Bujinkan. The Dayton Bujinkan Dojo is a private facility and reserves the right to restrict membership or participation at any time.
Bujinkan Hombu (Headquarters) International Rules:
The Bujinkan shall be open to only those who agree with and uphold the guidelines of the Bujinkan Dojo. Those not doing so shall not be allowed to join. Specifically: Only those who have read and agreed with these guidelines shall be allowed to participate.
Only those able to exercise true patience, self-control, and dedication shall be allowed to participate.
A physician's examination report may be required. Specifically, individuals with mental illness, drug addiction, or mentally instability shall be barred from joining. The necessity of such a report concerns individuals who may present a danger to others, for example, those with infectious diseases or illnesses, individuals with clinically abnormal personalities or physiology, and individuals lacking self-control.
Individuals with criminal records shall be turned away.
Trouble makers, those who commit crimes, and those living in Japan who break domestic laws shall be turned away.
Those not upholding the guidelines of the Bujinkan, either as practitioners or as members of society, by committing disgraceful or reproachable acts shall be expelled.
